Authentic Ideas and Route 28 Resort; the organisers of the Lucky Fish Music Festival, regret to announce the postponement of this year’s event until September 2010.

The Lucky Fish Music Festival was scheduled to take place from 3 – 6 September this year at the Route 28 Resort in Jagfontein, it has now been rescheduled to 2 – 5 September 2010 for economic reasons.

The festival has struggled to raise sponsorship and investment capital and the promoters feel that in light of the current economic recession and the lack of disposable income available; that the event would not reach the production standards necessary and would not be financially viable.

The Route 28 Resort is under development and without the investment finances; will not be ready on time to host an event that intends to include top international bands.

Negotiations are underway to secure Rodriguez and Parkway Drive for the 2010 event, all traders’, sponsors, tickets and current agreements will remain valid. All tickets sold for this year’s event, through Computicket or through outlets will be valid for next year’s event. However, refunds are also available.
